A while ago I posted about my love for Jessica Alba's style particularly when she wears Kenzo, and one of my favourite looks of hers was the amazing Kenzo yellow neoprene skirt she wore to the MTV movie awards. On my lust list is definitely a neoprene skirt of any kind in any colour. Below is another Kenzo skirt but in a shorter length and it is divine. I love the shape of the skirts and the fabric is so soft yet structured it is so wearable with also being a statement piece in itself. x

It's finally Summer in London and I hope this isn't just a short appearance. So all of this sunshine has me in the holiday mood (hopefully I'll be going to New York in August!) and on my wishlist is the staple bikini shape I love; the high-waisted 50's style and this gingham print one by River Island is absolute perfection on this silhouette. I love the pastel shades and nothing complements pastels like more pastels, some fresh white and florals! x

I have been girl-crushing on so much on Jessica Alba lately, from her flawless looks at Fashion Week to her amazing red carpet style. But I've been loving her even more when she's been sporting an ultimate favourite of mine - Kenzo. She looks incredible sporting the signature bright electric colours of the label, to the monochrome palm prints of the 2014 Resort collection, and let's not forget that amazing neoprene skirt from the 2014 MTV Movie Awards. Amazing. x

Call Me Fixed

So it's pretty clear my obsession has been everything and anything midi-length. I seriously can't get enough and though I've mostly been wearing midi skirts, I also seem to be drawn towards midi dresses. I love this soft grey Warehouse cami midi dress. It's such an easy shape that could definitely be worn super casual with flat sandals or loafers, or a bit dressed up like the look below and worn with these dream-worthy lilac strappy sandals by Alexander Wang. Add a bit of printed accessories for some interest, some bright nails, layer up with more pastel hues and just wait for the sun to shine. x

Palm prints and really any tropical-esque prints have been all over the catwalks and highstreet for SS14. I adore this crop top from Warehouse, it's a really wearable way of wearing the print in the toned down shades of navy and cream. A bit of candy pink lips and some gold studs and I'll be ready to embrace the sunshine! x

Maybe life is better looking through Rose-Tinted Glasses, I know mine would be if I was looking out of these dream worthy Mink Pink sunglasses. I love monochrome themed looks that have a hit of colour thrown in, but I always find that my percentage of black in the looks I normally wear is much higher. This Spring/Summer I will definitely be getting more white in my wardrobe and in key statement pieces like a coat and accessories. I adore this Trager Delaney white wool coat (how amazing is the detail on the shoulder?) and the ASOS white sandals. x

Maybe my favourites for this week are a bit optimistic seeing as apparently we'll be getting snow in London soon. Oh well, hopefully in the near future I can look to get (and wear) some of my own white lace pants; these Givenchy ones are totally to die for and definitely on my wishlist. I thought about basics with a twist to accompany such a statement piece, so I thought of a candy coloured shirt, strappy nude Saint Laurent's and a navy leather jacket Danny Zuko would be jealous of. I mentioned in one of my previous posts that excitingly I'm getting my room decorated. Up until now I was just so clueless to what I wanted and I think I've finally decided on a rough idea. It all came to me when I went out for brunch with my sister and her friend. We walked past this gorgeous patisserie with the most unbelievably scrummy looking cupcakes in the window (for those of you who follow me on Instagram you may have seen this picture already) -

It was just perfect, I'm thinking a blush dusty rose, brown (as my bed is brown leather) and fresh pops of white, with a bit of gold accents. If you can't imagine what it might look like, I've got a few pictures of inspiration below. Let me know what you all think! x

So lets face it, it's July in London and it's raining and raining, and well, raining. So needless to say I haven't really been in the mood for brightly coloured bold prints or an eclectic mix of colour blocking (hopefully I will be soon). But ever since wearing the Sugarlips dress in my last post I've really been into wearing quite dull muted colours with a pop of something bright. Call Me Mermaid

All I can say is I am totally craving a long, hot, beach holiday right now. I think I will end up going somewhere last minute this year (I hope I do - for my own sanity) and so here is my wishlist for the trip. Ever since I saw the YSL starfish key fob, anything beach/sea-like just called out to me. Now, I probably will end up clashing with my surroundings but why not? I will be on holiday after all. I absolutely loved going to the Fair as kid and honestly I still love it now. That's all the clothing this season seems to be reminding me of, all of the candy and pastel colours combined with cute child-like prints and florals, it's almost like it's poking at the big kid inside me. My favourites so far are printed bralets, pastel retro-shaped sunglasses combined with very feminine tailored pieces like slim leg trousers or sheer maxi skirts, all topped off with a camera in one hand and an ice-cream cone in the other. x

These are a few recent favourites and as you can see my obsession with nudes and light rose pinks haven't ended. Another love I've had lately is the mix of pastels with really strong metal hardware, there is something so perfect with this balance of soft and sharp.
