Call Me Turn

I went out for dinner with my family and opted for a tonal pastel pink outfit with hits of black. I got this light pink sequinned crop top from Topshop in the sale for a bargain of £15. I love how the boyish boxy shape contrasts with the ultra feminine candy pink sequins. I hope everyone had a marvellous weekend. x

Call Me Sign

So here are a few snaps from my second day in LA. It was more of a touristy affair with a trip to see the Hollywood sign, general drives around LA to sight see, and shopping on Rodeo Drive of course.

I knew this was going to be a pretty busy day so clothing couldn't be too complicated or heavy, when sightseeing comfort is key. I got this amazing china print dress (which I'll be sure to feature on this blog again, trust me - I'm obsessed) from Topshop. The lightweight fabric made it such an easy piece to wear, but the intricate details like the cut out shoulders and ornate china print stopped it from being just an ordinary day dress. I kept the other additions to the outfit quite simplistic; tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses, a leather jacket, opaque tights (it was a bit chilly) and some comfortable flats. x

Call Me Snap

So it's been a while since I've last blogged, a lot has changed which kind of halted the blogging flow, and once it stopped it gets a bit difficult to get back into the swing of it, my apologies! It's been a crazy few months; new job, holidays, house redecorating and general life and everything else getting in the way!

I'll start with the holiday! In March my sister and I went to LA and oh my god it was amazing!
Here are a few snaps from day one.
Relaxing in the sun with my sister, snaps on Hollywood Boulevard, shopping in the Highland Mall where you can see the top of the Loews hotel where we stayed, and the breathtaking view of the city and Hollywood sign from our hotel room!

Call Me Laced

After months of issues with builders and various other set backs my room renovation is finally getting started. I'm so excited, and with only my room on my mind I want to share a few more inspirational ideas for room décor. x

Call Me Clear

I mentioned in one of my previous posts that excitingly I'm getting my room decorated. Up until now I was just so clueless to what I wanted and I think I've finally decided on a rough idea. It all came to me when I went out for brunch with my sister and her friend. We walked past this gorgeous patisserie with the most unbelievably scrummy looking cupcakes in the window (for those of you who follow me on Instagram you may have seen this picture already) -

It was just perfect, I'm thinking a blush dusty rose, brown (as my bed is brown leather) and fresh pops of white, with a bit of gold accents. If you can't imagine what it might look like, I've got a few pictures of inspiration below. Let me know what you all think! x
