Call Me Apply

I love finding things that you have lurking around the back of your closet for a few years, especially when they're current pieces. This skirt is a favourite of mine; I picked it up in a market in Paris about 2 Summers ago for a steal at 10 Euros. The print is so cute and I adore the little button details on the front. Keeping in with the floral's I've layered on my amazing lace jacket from River Island with the gorgeous appliqué flower detailing. x

Call Me Mighty

Ever since the SS14 shows I've been obsessed with pastel anything, specifically pastel lace. I loved the mix of lace and polkadots from Burberry's show and that's were I got the influence for the look below. I'll definitely be mixing these prints and textures more! x

Call Me Heart

I absolutely adore any kind of nail art and rarely ever do much because I don't really have too many hours in the day to sit and purely focus on my nails. I saw this super cute 'Sticky Fingers' nail art kit from Models Own in this pretty floral theme and thought it looked easy enough, and so I wanted to give it a try for some Spring inspired nails.

For easy and fun nail art I really can't recommend these enough. Literally just paint your nails, let them dry and place the stickers (I recommend using tweezers) in whatever sequence you like and a good top coat. For this I used my ultimate favourite Sally Hansen Mega Shine top coat and they've lasted for a few days now. The 'Sticky Fingers' kits come in an array of themes and honestly are so easy to use. Anyway I hope all of you are having a wonderful Easter Sunday! x

Call Me Flow

I went vintage shopping with my amazing friends the weekend before last. Geraint of His Name Is Fashion and Sinead of Hackney Rose. We went to the East End Thrift Store's £1 jumble sale, and boy did I find some amazing pieces. You will definitely see me sporting my fabulous finds soon.

As the weather was glorious I wore my amazing white slip dress from Forever 21. It has beautiful lace detailing on the front and around the sides and is such a comfortable piece. I literally felt like I was wearing a nightie, but to stop it looking like I was I paired my dress with a studded leather jacket and biker boots. x

Call Me Darling

A couple of weeks back I was off work battling an awful cold. I'm one of those people who can't sit still for very long, so being at home for 3 days I was going pretty insane; I mean how many episodes of Criminal Minds can I actually watch in one day?! I decided to spend my time a bit more creatively and spent a lovely amount of time on my sewing machine.

I have a ridiculous amount of fabric at home and I found this amazing two-tone fabric and knew I had to do something with it. I've been in love with Midi Skirts (obsessed is probably more appropriate) and decided this would be my little project. I opted for a double layer full skirt with pleat detail around the waist band to give the skirt some movement.
(pinning my pleats in the pic above)

When I finally was able to wear the skirt I thought monochromatic florals would add a bit of interest contrasted with little hits of gold hardware on my studded clutch, shoes and belt. x

Call Me Guilty

A little outfit post just before going to my cousins birthday party last weekend. It was so hard trying to find something to wear and  it was the end of a long shopping trip when I saw this exquisitely bright pink floral printed skirt from Topshop, it completely stole my heart and I knew I had to get it for the party. Not only is the print gorgeous, the skirt is structured amazingly and the fabric has beautiful quilted detail. I decided to keep the top basic with a plain black cami and for shoes, I picked out the grey hues in the florals and decided on these amazing stone grey strappy sandals from New Look for a steal at £19.99! (New Look's footwear are absolutely killing it this season) As I kept the feminine feel flowing with a lace clutch I added a tough looking leather jacket, a long black formal coat did work with the outfit but I'm a sucker for leather and studs.

The skirt itself is quite a statement piece and is quite formal in structure and shape and so it's perfect for events. I do think it's quite versatile so I can't wait to style it for a day friendly look! x

Call Me Relaxed

There is something so comforting about putting on a warm jumper on a freezing day. I've always been drawn towards knitwear the minute I feel a cool breeze, and with London being not so warm (understatement of the year) outside I've made no exception. My favourite thing to do is layer my knitwear over a clean white shirt, and then some more layering by wearing my baggy jumper over a skirt. I opted for a midi skirt the other day, purely because I wanted a chance to wear my amazing sandals from Forever 21, and midi skirts are a bit more cold weather friendly if you want to wear some sandals and get the toes out. x
