Call Me Funfair

So for those of you who don't know, I work in the fashion industry as part of the International Team at Oasis. Recently I got to go to the Oasis AW14 Press Day, it was an amazing Funfair themed event with displays on carousels and bumper cars and incredible food! The new collections are amazing, my favourites were beautiful winter pastel shades, coloured leather separates, and the conversational 70's style butterfly prints in co-ordinated accessories. Here are a few pictures from the day. x

And the delicious food!

Not edible, but how cute is this knitted fish and chips, and the little hot dog!
Also have a look at Company Magazines pictures of the Press Day.

Call Me Team

I love playing around with textures and colours in any shape and form. I was inspired by this Suno Cotton Crop and Pencil Skirt with its amazing structure and the woven gold thread. Playing around with colour I thought hits of electric pink would add a bit of interest. And for the accessories layers of gold, gold, and more gold because well, why not? x

Call Me Blushed

Most of my perfumes tend to be on the floral side, I love scents of rose and peony and they all tend to be quite light and sweet. At the end of a little impromptu shopping trip I wandered into The Perfume Shop I spotted YSL Paris Premieres Roses. I was instantly drawn to the little floral decorated box and as soon as I tested the scent I knew I had to have it.

The main scent is a glorious mix of wild rose, orange blossom and violet. The more the scent sits on your skin you end up being surrounded by beautiful tones of lily and peony. Although this perfume has all the floral notes I love, it's actually quite different to all of the perfumes I own, mainly due to the undertones of sandalwood and musk.

All in all it's a bright beautiful floral fragrance, perfect for sunny summer days. Below is some catwalk inspiration from Erdem's Spring/Summer 2013 collection, one of my favourites and in-keeping with the exquisite floral scents from YSL Paris Premieres Roses.

Call Me Crazed

And the monochrome madness continues at Paris Fashion Week. Chanel and Valentino were by far my favourite collections, officially in love! x
Chanel - Polka-dots and pearl details, Chanel at it's best
Valentino - Lace, lazer cut florals and sheer fabrics. Swoon.

Call Me Monochrome

Just wanted to share some favourites from a few collections from SS13. So far all of the black and white pieces have been blowing my mind. I guess I'll be veering towards a monochrome uniform in the upcoming months. x
Alexander Wang - Clean, sharp and sexy silhouettes. Oh, he never disappoints.
Marchesa - Intriguing and unique embroidery, feminine shapes and gorgeous fabrics. Yes please!
Misha Nonoo - Cute, fun with an old Hollywood twist.
Vera Wang - Lace jacquard and embellishment, yummy!
